J.M.P calls on UN envoy to stop siding with coalition of aggression

SANAA, Aug 31 (YPA) – Joint Meeting Parties (J.M.P) on Sunday called on the UN envoy and the United Nations to stop aligning with the mercenaries and the coalition of aggression at the expense of the Yemeni people, and for the arrival of what they need from fuel and domestic gas ships and ships loaded with foodstuffs.

The Joint Meeting Parties condemned, in a statement, what was issued by the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, regarding his concern, which he described as severe about the great shortage of fuel that the Yemeni people suffer from, and his fallacies in this regard.

The J.M.P expressed its surprise at what was stated in Griffith’s statement regarding the clear bias of the mercenaries that entry permits were granted to a number of fuel ships to Hodeidah, knowing that there was no decision in the mercenaries’ hands and that the one who imposes the blockade is the aggression led by Saudi Arabia, which is holding the oil ships and preventing them from entering.

It also called for stopping the facts and presenting a misleading image in favor of the mercenaries and the Saudi-American aggression coalition, and to bear the humanitarian responsibility in preventing the entry of ships of oil derivatives.

The J.M.P called on the UN envoy and the United Nations to sponsor the implementation of the Sweden agreement as well as Security Council resolutions that stipulate the entry of fuel ships without any hindrance.

The J.M.P stressed the importance of a credible commitment with regard to the commitment and attendance of the representatives of the national side in the meetings of controlling revenues and paying salaries in light of the absence and intransigence of the other party, as well as the lack of ambiguity in obliging the other party to cover the deficit to disburse salaries at the level of the Republic.

The JMP called on the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to reconsider dealing with the envoy, Griffiths, and to suspend dealing with his office until his supposed neutrality is guaranteed.
