Officers, recruits of 35 brigade arrived at Mocha

TAIZ, Aug. 24 (YPA) – Several military officers and recruiters loyal to UAE-backed 35 brigade escaped on Monday to Mocha city, including the commander Raaid al-Haj with several of his guards, while the fate of the other leaders is still unknown, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that Islah party’s militias carried out an arresting and kidnapping campaign against the officers of 35 brigade in al-Hujaria area of Taiz province.

The raids which targeted the officers’ homes coincided with the kidnappings of a number of the brigade’s officers and recruits in checkpoints set up by Islah militants.
