NCM expects relative decline in instability of weather

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Wednesday a relative decline in the instability of weather in most governorates compared to the previous days.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the formation of cumulus clouds on the western and southwestern highlands and parts of the interior plateaus, accompanied by uneven rain during the afternoon and evening periods.

It indicated that the rain might be extended to separate parts of the western coasts, adding that the weather would be partly cloudy to cloudy on the coasts, inland areas and deserts for the governorates of Hadramout and Mahra.

The center stated that the speed of the monsoons winds around the Socotra Archipelago would range from 20 to 40 knots, warning the captains of ships and fishermen of high waves of the Sea.

The center warned citizens in areas where rain would be expected to stay away streams of floods, water gatherings and valleys, calling for taking the necessary precautions from rock landslides and a decrease in the horizontal visibility due to low clouds and fog, especially in mountainous roads.
