Citizen killed, 11 wounded in Saudi-led coalition shelling on Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Aug. 11 (YPA) – At least one citizen was killed and 11 others, including 6 children were injured in shelling launched by Saudi-led aggression mercenaries in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a security official said on Tuesday.

According to the official, the Saudi-led mercenaries fired two artillery shells targeted populated area in Al-Jah Al-A’ala area in the Beit Al-Faqih district, killing one citizen and wounding 11 others I, including six children.

Moreover, the aggression forces launched artillery shelling attacks on several areas of in the al-Jabaliah area of Tuhayta District.

On Saturday, a woman was killed after the forces of aggression targeted Al-Jah Al-A’ala area in the Beit Al-Faqih district, with various machine guns.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries have committed 104 violations of the UN-sponsored ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah province over the past 24 hours, including flight of  seven spy aircraft and two warplanes over the sky of areas of al-Jah, Hays, al-Jabaliah and al-Tuhayta.

Also, the violations also included 29 breaches with an artillery and rocket attack and 59 other breaches with various bullets.
