Sanaa’s emergency committee discusses facing rains damage

SANAA, Aug. 9 (YPA) – The Emergency Committee in Sanaa province headed by Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi, in presence of the Secretary General of the Local Council Abdulqader al-Jilani, discussed on Sunday aspects related to dealing with the damage caused by heavy rains and torrents.

In its meeting, the committee reviewed the results of the governor’s field visits to the districts affected by the floods, the aid provided to the most affected districts and the needs necessary to alleviate the suffering.

The committee launched an appeal to the competent authorities to urgently intervene to maintain the roads in the districts.
