Hodeidah laboratories get modern device to check Corona cases

HODEIDAH, July 30 (YPA) – The World Health Organization (WHO) has provided the central health laboratories in Hodeidah province with an apparatus for the analysis and examination of cases infected with the novel Corona virus (Covid-19), (AppliedBiosystems7500).

Director of the central health laboratories Dr. Essam al-Hajj valued the qualitative and technical support provided by the WHO office in Hodeidah.

Dr. al-Hajj pointed out that this device is the latest of its kind at the province level and can examine ninety samples at the same time, and will contribute to improving the provision of examination services for the various suspected cases referred to the laboratories.
