Yemeni riyal continues to recover against foreign currencies in Sanaa

SANAA, July 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate witnessed on Monday a relative stability against foreign currencies, one day after a significant improvement was recorded in the capital Sanaa, to settle at 596 Yemeni riyals per dollar.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange rate has also stabilized, after its significant decline in the southern provinces, influenced by the tension between the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias and and the Central Bank of Aden, to reach 757 riyals per dollar in Aden province, and 754 riyals in Hadramout province.

The average dollar exchange rate on the black market in the capital Sanaa reached 605 riyals.
