Fierce clashes, violent bombing renewed in Abyan

ABYAN, July 23 (YPA) – Fierce clashes renewed on Wednesday among UAE-backed southern transitional council militias and Islah party’s militiamen in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that violent battles witnessed by al-Tria area in east of Zunjbar city.

Explosions, Katyusha rockets and tanks sounds were heard.

The southern militants accused exiled Hadi’s troops of violating the ceasefire.
