Young man killed in run over incident in Lahj

LAHJ, July 21 (YPA) – A Young man was killed in a run over incident in Lahj province, southern Yemen, local sources said on Tuesday.

According to the source, local residents found the body of a citizen who was killed on Monday in Khor Amira area.

“The body turned out to be a young man, Ali Jaber al-Ka’alawli, his body was found dumped near the side of the road, after he was hit by unknown car,” one of the sources said.

“Citizens volunteered to report the body, and it was taken to his village for burial there, but the car that ran over him was not identified,” the sources added.

The killing of citizens by military pickups belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council  (STC)’s militias in the southern provinces and on the west coast were repeated.
