Qatari army conducts military exercise to test readiness

DOHA, July 21 (YPA) – The Qatari Armed Forces announced Tuesday a summary of the “Nasr 2020” exercise, in which units of all the armed forces in the country participate.

The exercise aims to consolidate the concept of joint action and unify concepts, and to test the possibility and readiness of all units in the armed forces, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The agency’s statement did not refer to other details about the exercise carried out by the Qatari armed forces.

In last June, a squadron of Typhoon aircraft of the British Royal Air Force and the Amiri Qatari Air Force jointly flew in a major achievement to be counted for the two countries.
