TAIZ, July, (YPA) – Armed groups of the Saudi-backed Islah Party have stormed several educational schools in al-Shamaytin district, south of Taiz province over the past few days, source said.
The sources affirmed that the armed groups turned the schools into military barracks.
A complaint submitted by the head of Abu Al-Dhahab School for Girls in Bani Ghazi area in the district, on July 14, confirmed that Islah gunmen stormed the school wall and turned it into military barracks, calling for the militants to leave.
The Islah Party has taken several schools in the district as military sites, to control the areas of Al-Hajariah, after being transformed many schools and government institutions in the city of Taiz, into training centers and others for detentions and secret prisons.
