Ministry of Electricity prepares to operate Ras Katnib station in Hodeidah

DHAMAR, July 20 (YPA) –Minister of Electricity and Energy in the Salvation Government Atiq Hussain Abbar on Monday said that the Ministry is currently making arrangements to operate the Ras Katnib station, after its success in restoring electricity service to the city of Hodeidah.

This came during his chairing a meeting held in Dhamar province to discuss the current arrangements for the restoration of electricity service and the maintenance of network lines in the province.

Abbar noted to the ministry’s efforts to restart the electrical current, maintain the public power grid and open the way for the private sector to meet the community’s needs in electricity field.
