NCM warns citizens against dust wave over 24 hours

SANAA, July 20 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warned on Monday citizens against a dust wave targeting Yemen over the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the dust wave moved very quickly with the northeast winds, which spread to the mountainous highlands to the southern coasts.

It expected that the wave would dissipate during the next 24 hours, with a noticeable improvement in weather factors in the northwestern highlands and an increase in rain opportunities.

The center expected also moderate to heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, over parts of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan and western highlands from Saada governorate to Taiz and Lahj.

The center advised patients and children to sty into homes and divers in the mountainous roads from the dust wave.
