ABYAN, July 19 (YPA) – A football player and three displaced workers from Hodeidah province were injured on Sunday when a tribal man loyal to UAE-backed southern transitional militias shot at several citizens in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The armed man shot at the civilians, wounding the three workers and the player of Ahwar club, Abduallah al-Mishriqi in front of post office in Ahwar district.
The sources pointed out that the situation of two citizens was described as serious, and one of them went to Aden.
The gunman opened fire on the people of Hodeidah, accusing them of spies and agents, according to the sources.
