TAIZ, July 19 (YPA) – Islah party’s militias of 22 brigade stormed on Sunday a children’s water park in an attempt to extort the garden owner by force of arms in east of Taiz province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
A group of armed men on military pick-up vehicles, stormed the park, and threatened to shoot water balloons, which terrified the children who were swimming, accompanied by their mothers inside the park.
The commander Mohammed al-Ramisi stormed the internal building of the garden, which contains many rooms, one of which is a cinema room with dozens of women inside, they also threatened to close the park completely, demanding a percentage of the park’s revenues, which is being equipped by an investor.
The gunmen refused to put their weapons at the gate and stormed the park, after one of them opened the safety of his weapon and threatened to shoot.
One of the gunmen tried to storm a room where women were inside, after one of the workers refused to open the door of the room, the sources added.
