Riyadh grants STC ministerial portfolios

ADEN, July 18 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has got the share of the southern provinces in the ministerial formation, to be implemented based on the negotiations under way in the Saudi capital Riyadh, media sources reported on Friday,

According to media sources loyal to the STC, Saudi Arabia has recognized the eligibility of the STC for all ministerial portfolios, not other southern political forces and formations, according to the Riyadh agreement signed with Hadi’s government in early November.

The journalist Hussein Hanshi, closed the STC’s president confirmed that the portfolios are force the transitional, the commissioner of the “southern people.”

Saudi Arabia seeks to marginalize all southern political components and forces, and not involve them in any future government formation, with the aim of hitting the southern components with each other and pitting them against the STC.
