Civil Defense put out fire in gas truck in Sanaa

SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – The Civil Defense Authority was managed on Friday to put out fire in a gas truck loaded with 200 gas cylinders in Sanaa province.

The Civil Defense Authority declared that the fire broke out in the truck, when the driver was carrying two gas cylinders in the cabin with him, the gas was leaking from them and the gas was subjected to a thermal spark that caused the two cylinders to ignite, while the driver had escaped from the cabin.

The Civil Defense Authority called on all owners and drivers of oil derivatives trucks to take all safety precautions.
