NMC warns citizens from floods over next 24 hours

SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center warned on Friday from rainy weather accompanied by thunderstorms and active winds on various provinces of the country over the next 24 hours.

The center has warned citizens and drivers of driving in areas where it is expected to rain and to stay away from floods paths.

The center also called on vehicle drivers to take care and be cautious about the decline in the horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds and of rock and mud slides on the roads in the highlands.

The center also warned seagoers, ship masters, and fishermen around Socotra and in the southern and eastern coasts from strong winds, sea turbulence and high waves.
