SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Thursday rainy weather accompanied by thunderstorms on various provinces of the country over the next 24 hours.
The continuous rainfall of varying intensity accompanied by thunderstorms, and active winds includes parts of mountain heights and inner plateaus, which may extend to parts of the western and southern coastal areas.
Meanwhile, the center expected dusty weather over desert, mountainous areas, inner plateaus, which may extend also to parts of the western and southern coastal areas.
The center has warned citizens and drivers of driving in areas where it is expected to rain and to stay away from floods.
The center also called on vehicle drivers to take care and be cautious about the decline in the horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds and of rock and mud slides on the roads in the highlands.
The center also warned seagoers, ship masters, and fishermen around Socotra and in the southern and eastern coasts from strong winds, sea turbulence and high waves.
