Iran reports 2691 new coronavirus cases

SANAA, July 8 (YPA) – The Iranian Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Wednesday that 2691 new infection cases of coronavirus were recorded over the past 24 hours, raising the number of infections to 248379.

The death toll also raised to 12084 when 153 infected persons died over the past 24 hours.

209463 infected persons of Covid-19 have recovered, the Ministry’s spokeswoman added.

She also pointed out that 3309 are subjected to superior health care.
