Parliament listens to report of Development, Oil Committee

SANAA, July 7 (YPA) – The Parliament listened, in its session on Tuesday headed by Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra’i, to the report of the Development, Oil and Mineral Resources Committee on the continuing crisis of oil derivatives in the local market.

The committee’s report included the issues discussed by the committee with the government side, the responses of the Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC), and a statement of the shipments that have been imported during the since March 2020, as well as ships that were released in addition to ships held by Saudi-led aggression coalition until June 21, 2020.

The report also included a number of recommendations.

The Parliament postponed the discussion of this report to Saturday session in the presence of the relevant government side.
