SANAA, June 28 (YPA) – General Telecommunications Authority condemned the aggression coalition countries ’detention of oil derivative ships and their entry into Hodeidah port.
The Authority affirmed in a statement that these illegal actions reveal the intentions of the aggressive and destructive coalition countries against the Yemeni people.
The statement called on the international community and UN and humanitarian organizations to take responsible positions more seriously towards the continuation of these arbitrary practices that are contrary to all norms and humanitarian and international laws.
The statement warned that the continued denial of oil to the port of Hodeidah has serious repercussions and effects on the lives of millions of Yemeni civilians and cause catastrophic damage to all economic and service activities.
The statement pointed out that the coalition forces intentionally withholding oil ships poses a direct threat to the services of the public telecommunications corporation, which results in depriving citizens of telecommunications and internet services as a humanitarian service guaranteed by international laws and legislation.
