Iraq: 6 policemen killed, wounded in ISIS attack in Diyala

SANAA, June 28 (YPA) –  Four policemen were killed and two others injured in an attack by ISIS militants on a security post in Iraqi province of Diyala.

The news agency, Baghdad Today, quoted a security source, saying that “ISIS” militants launched an attack, late on Saturday evening, on a security point near the village of “Abu Khanazir”, killing and wounding 6 members of the Iraqi police.
The source said that ISIS militants used light and medium weapons and snipers in the attack, adding that the security forces took control of the situation, without mentioning the fate of the attackers.
