Coalition forces face major collapses in Marib

MARIB, June 26 (YPA) – Yemeni army forces and popular committees on Friday made major military victories in fighting in areas of Al Abdiyah district, southwest of Marib province, amid major coalition collapses, military sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, Local sources, the army forces fought fierce battles against coalition forces in the Bayhan Axis, through which they were able to take full control of strategic areas in al-Abdiyah district.

The sources pointed out that the army forces and popular committees, at dawn, managed to clear strategic areas in Radhma in the al- Abdiyah district and advance towards the areas north of the Radhma area.

The sources confirmed that the coalition forces are suffering from major collapses, and heavy losses in their ranks.  Dozens of them were killed or wounded, one of the source added.

On Thursday, Sanaa forces cleared al-Rakhaym, al-Alam and al-Wa’al areas in the al-Abdiyah and Mahliyah districts.
