Hundreds of Zionist settlers storm tomb of Prophet Joseph in Nablus amid confrontations

SANAA, June 23 (YPA) – Hundreds of Zionist settlers stormed at dawn on Tuesday the tomb of the Prophet Joseph, in the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, under heavy guard from the Zionist enemy forces.

Palestinian sources reported that dozens of military vehicles stormed the eastern area of ​​the city after midnight, and spread in the vicinity of the tomb of the Prophet Joseph, amid unprecedented security measures, and a number of snipers took to the roofs of buildings overlooking the area, in preparation for the entry of settlers.

Later, dozens of large buses carrying hundreds of settlers arrived from the Beit Furik checkpoint, east of the city, accompanied by some enemy patrols.

It is mentioned that the tomb of Prophet Yusuf witnessed almost weekly incursions into settlers performing their Talmudic rites.

Clashes erupted in the city of Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank, during the occupation forces stormed the eastern region in preparation for the settlers entering the tomb of Joseph.

Witnesses reported that clashes erupted in the vicinity of the municipal slaughterhouse, between dozens of youths and enemy forces, during which soldiers opened fire and tear gas canisters.
