India records 455 deaths, 14,821 new infections with corona virus

SANAA, June 22 (YPA) – The Indian authorities announced on Monday that 455 deaths were recorded, in addition to 14,821 confirmed cases of Covid-19 virus during the past 24 hours.

The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a statement that the total number of the pandemic rose to 13,699 deaths and 425,282 cases of coronavirus.

The Ministry indicated that the number of cases of recovery from the virus has reached 237196 cases.

Maharashtra, New Delhi, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat are among the most affected states with the coronavirus, as it spreads to 35 states in the country.

The Indian government announced a few days ago to extend the closure in the areas affected by Corona virus while allowing for substantial relief in areas not affected greatly by the virus.
