SANAA, June 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Sunday recovered partly days after its significant decline in the southern province, influenced by the return of tension between the armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Abyan province.
Riyal exchange rate reached 736 riyals per dollar in Aden province, and 735 riyals in Hadramout province.
On another hand, the Yemeni riyal preserved its stability in the capital Sanaa at 621 riyal per dollar, while the average price of dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals.
The dollar price in the Central Bank of Yemen in the capital Sanaa continued at 250.5 riyals, and in other Yemeni banks in the capital it remains stable at 498 riyals, while the banks stopped the process of selling foreign currencies.
