Greek army confirms its readiness to respond to any Turkish attack

SANAA, June 21 (YPA) – Greek Army Chief of Staff Constantine Florus confirmed his country’s readiness to respond to any aggression by Turkey on Greek soil.
According to “SANA”, Florus said in a statement to a Greek TV channel on Saturday, “We will burn those who set foot on Greek soil,” noting that a military conflict with Turkey would not be excluded if it crossed the red lines with its aggressive policy.

Florus added that the confrontation will not be limited to one point, but will widen.

Last Sunday, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dundas confirmed that Greece would defend its sovereignty and rights in the face of attempts by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime to extort it in order to obtain concessions.
