Pro-coalition military commander killed in Abyan

ABYAN, June 20 (YPA) – A military commander, loyal to Saudi-led coalition, was killed on Friday in the occupied Abyan province, sources reported on Saturday.

First Lieutenant Mustafa Awadd al-Rahwa, commander of the Guard of Brigadier General Sanad al-Rahwa, commander of the First Presidential Protection Brigade, was killed in Sheikh Salem area of Abyan during battles between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias and the Saudi-backed Hadi’s forces on Friday.

According to the sources, al-Rahwa was killed when a mortar shell fell near his whereabouts, adding that his body was transferred to the coastal city of Shoqra.
