Cargo plane arrives in Sanaa Airport carrying vaccines for children

SANAA, June 18 (YPA) – A UNICEF cargo plane, carrying vaccines for children under one year old, arrived at Sanaa International Airport on Thursday.

Director of the vaccines department in the immunization program Taha al-Aqari said the shipment includes 572,200 doses of Pneumococcal vaccine, 910,500 doses of Pota vaccine, 199,350 doses of Polio vaccine, and 400,000 doses of Pentavalent vaccine.

All these vaccines are for routine immunization of children under one year in all provinces of the country, al-Aqari explained.

The shipment also included medical equipment and protective supplies to fight Corona Virus, he added.
