Pro-coalition commander escapes assassination in Jawf

JAWF, June 17 (YPA) – Commander of the so-called “the 7th border guard brigade” Major General Khalid bin Kharsan, loyal to Saudi-led coalition, has survived from an assassination attempt in Jawf province.

Bin Kharsan’s brother confirmed, in a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, that his brother’s convoy was exposed to an ambush by unidentified gunmen while he was returning from al-Yatama area of Khab Washaf district to the Saudi-Yemeni borders.
