4 Islah military vehicles destroyed in Abyan

ABYAN, June 16 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias on Tuesday managed to destroy three military vehicles belonging to Islah Party in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

According to local sources, the STC militias carried out three ambushes targeting military reinforcements of Islah in al-Mahfad district.

The ambushes targeted four military pick-up cars, one of them was carrying a 23- caliber machine-gun, in Dhiqa valley while heading for Shoqra front, the sources explained.

The sources added that violent clashes erupted between the STC militia and the Islah militants along the international line from Dhiqa area all the way to Lahmar area, which resulted in a number of deaths and wounded.
