Head of EU delegation to Yemen: Yemeni people demands for peace

SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – The head of the European Union delegation to Yemen, Antonia Calvo Puerta said that the Yemeni people demanded for a peace that cannot wait any long.

During her article on “Europe Day” on May 9, Puerta said that the Union continues are to work hard to address the humanitarian crisis of the Yemeni people, stressing that the Union is committed in making its voice heard when civilians are suffering from the human rights violations.

The UN official stressed on that her country has continued to provide an assistance to the Yemeni people and urged the parties to engage in negotiations.
