SANAA, June 11 (YPA) – Italy recorded on Thursday a new decline in daily deaths from the Corona virus, with 53 cases being monitored, compared to 71 on Wednesday.
The Italian Civil Defense Authority said that the general number of registered deaths caused by the new Corona virus rose during the past 24 hours by 53 cases, and reached 34,167 people since the outbreak in the country began on February 21.
This figure indicates a slight decline in the daily death toll, as this indicator in the data published on Tuesday reached 79 cases and on Wednesday to 71.
The Civil Defense Authority stated that the outcome of the new injuries amounted to 379, bringing the total number to 236,142.
The daily rate of casualties witnessed certain fluctuations that came after days of continuous decline, and were recorded in the country according to the statistics published on Tuesday, 283 cases, and on Wednesday, 202.
The Civil Defense Authority pointed to the decrease in the number of active cases during the past 24 hours from 31710 to 30637, stressing the continued decline in the number of patients in intensive care rooms, as this indicator fell from 249 to 236 cases.
It also reported an increase in the number of recovered persons by 1399 cases, where the index rose from 169939 to 171338 people, and the outcome of the examinations carried out exceeded 2.746 million, at a time when the country’s population reached 60 million people.
Italian government had previously decided to ease many restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, and the authorities restored freedom of movement in all parts of the country, which raises fears among some regional rulers about the risk of renewed outbreaks with its previous strength.
