UAE-backed militias target Hadi forces in Shuqurh of Abyan

ABYAN, June 10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia managed to ambush a number of military vehicles belonging to Hadi’s forces as they fled from Shuqrah district of Abyan to Shabwah, local sources reported.

According to the sources, the ambush destroyed two military pickup vehicles and an ambulance car, as well as killing and wounding all those on board.

Other military sources in Abyan said that the STC militia had taken control over the mountains and highlands of the Wadi Sala, near the town of Shuqrah, which is under control of Hadi’s forces.

The sources reported that the Transitional Militia managed to take full control of the valley, coinciding with the arrival of large reinforcements from  the Thunderbolt brigade loyal to the UAE-backed STC.
