Russia records 8404 new corona virus cases

SANAA, June 10 (YPA) -The headquarters of the new Corona Virus Control Operations (Covid-19) in Russia announced on Wednesday that 8,404 new cases of the virus were recorded, including 1195 cases in the capital, Moscow, bringing the total number of cases to 493,657 cases.

“During the past 24 hours, 8,404 new infections with the newly created Corona virus (Covid-19) were reported in 84 provinces in Russia, bringing the number of confirmed cases in 85 provinces to 493657,” the operations headquarters statement said.

The Russian capital, Moscow, had the largest share in the number of injuries, reaching 1195, and 735 on its outskirts, and the city of St. Petersburg recorded 313 cases during the last 24 hours.

“10386 people left the hospital during the past 24 hours, after recovering from the virus, bringing the total of those who recovered from the virus to 252783 people,” the headquarters said in its statement.

The headquarters pointed out that 216 new deaths from the newly infected Corona virus were recorded in Russia during the past 24 hours, with a total of 6,358 deaths.
