Israeli enemy prevents German foreign minister from visiting Ramallah

SANAA, June 9 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities prevent German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas from visiting the West Bank during his Middle East tour next week, The Israeli daily Haaretz on Tuesday reported.

The Palestinian news agency SAFA  cited the newspaper as reporting: If he visits Ramallah, occupation said, he would be required to quarantine for two weeks upon reentry to Israel en route to the airport.

The Newspaper noted that authorities did not ask a similar action upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, despite the fact that the virus is spreading more widely in Israel.

He is expected to arrive in Israel on Wednesday and sought to visit Ramallah following his visit in Israel.

According to observers, he Israeli enemy’s decision is a punishment for the Palestinian Authority’s decision to suspend security coordination in addition to Israel’s attempt to minimize the damage of the German minister’s visit to the region, which carries a warning message against taking the annexation step and its implications for bilateral relations.
