STC commander vows to libearte Shuqrah city of Abyan

ABYAN, June 9 (YPA) – Senior commander loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has vowed to storm Shuqrah coastal city in Abyan province, which is under control of al-Islah party (Yemeni Branch of Muslim brotherhoods).

The move came in a response to the attempts of al-Islah militants to storm Ja’ar city.

Abdullatif al-Sayyed said during a speech to his fighters that ” what had happened in Ja’ar two days ago, is only failed infiltration attempts carried out by Hadi and Islah forces, but our forces dealt with them in a good way.

He confirmed the STC forces are stationed in their locations, and news about the advancing of Islah militants is fake.

Al-Sayyed promised to storm and liberate Shuqrah city in the coming two days.
