12 new coronavirus cases recorded in southern Yemen

ADEN, June 9 (YPA) – Health authorities in Saudi-led coalition-backed government on Monday have recorded 12 new coronavirus cases, without registering a single death for the first time in weeks.

The Control Committee tasked with confronting the coronavirus said in a tweet that it had recorded five cases in Taiz, and five other cases in Lahj, while two cases recorded in Aden.

According to the committee, the total number of cases of the new coronavirus Covid-19 has risen to (496) cases, including (112) deaths and (23) cases of recoveries.
