ABYAN, June 8 (YPA) – Yemeni activists on Social Media on Monday shared pictures of a child who was killed in the ranks of al-Islah militants in the fighting in Abyan province.
The activists pointed out in their posts that the child “Saleh Ahmed Awad al-Kazmi” was only 16 years old who was recruited by al-Islah militias.
Activists confirmed that the child “Saleh al-Kazmi” was killed On Monday in clashes in Ja’ar district of Abyan province, between al-Islah party militants and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias.
They explained that the dead child was pushed by an officer of his military unit, to go to the battlefield during the clashes in order to capture an RPG-29N bomber who was near one of the dead militias of the STC.
The activists denounced the recruitment of children by al-Islah militias into coalition forces and pushing them into death.
Last week, human rights activists revealed widespread rapes of children recruited into coalition forces inside camps on the Yemeni-Saudi border.
