Covid-19 pushes Brazil to strengthen cooperation with Iran

SANAA, June 8 (YPA) – Iran’s Ambassador to Brazil Hossein Gharibi on Monday stressed on the importance of strengthening cooperation with Brazil to compensate for the economic losses caused by “Covid-19 in the two countries.

The move came as a result of marking the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Iranian embassy building in the capital Brasilia as the first country to move its embassy from Rio de Janeiro to the new capital Brasília on June 7, 1960.

In this ceremony, which was organized via video conference in Tehran with the Brazilian embassy, due to the restrictions imposed by the spread of Covid-19.
