Pakistani authorities: Corona deaths exceed 2000 deaths

SANAA, June 8 (YPA) – The Pakistani authorities on Monday announced that they had recorded 67 deaths from the Corona virus and 4,960 new cases of the virus during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 98943 confirmed cases, including 2002 deaths.

According to the Pakistani Ministry of Health, 33,465 people have recovered from Corona in Pakistan so far, and more than 683,000 tests have been conducted in the country to diagnose cases of the virus.

The largest number of injuries is found in the Punjab provinces (more than 37,000 cases) and Sindh (more than 36,000 cases).

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced a plan to gradually ease the severe restrictions imposed a month and a half ago in the country in order to reduce the spread of infection.
