SANAA, June 8 (YPA) – Japan’s Kyodo News quoted officials in various countries as saying Japan will not join the United States, Britain and other countries in a statement criticizing China for imposing a new security law in Hong Kong.
According to Reuters, Britain, the United States, Australia and Canada condemned China on May 28 for imposing a law that these countries said threatens freedom and constitutes a breach of an agreement concluded by China and Britain in 1984 on the self-rule of that former colony.
