Violent clashes erupt among coalition’s factions in Abyan
ABYAN, June 6 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Saturday among Islah party’s militias and southern transitional council militiamen in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The clashes renewed in when Islah militiamen attempted to progress toward Zunjbar city.
According to the sources, Islah militants attempted to progress in Dirjaj area of Jaar district and others infiltrated to STC’s sites in Sala valley.
Dozens of the militia were killed and injured.
The sources confirmed that military reinforcements belonging to Tariq Saleh troops arrived at Sheikh Salim front to support the southern militias in repelling Islah militants infiltrations.
