Health Minister Meets MSF official

SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Mohammed Salem Bin-Hafiz, on Tuesday met with the head of the Dutch mission of Doctors Without Borders(MSF),  Michael Mark in the capital Sanaa.

The meeting, which was attended by Minister of Public Works and Roads, Ghaleb Mutlaq, discussed the possibility of resuming the mission for its work in Dhala province after it suspended as a result of the security situation.

Bin-Hafiz appreciated the role of the Dutch Doctors Without Borders mission and its efforts in supporting the health sector, especially in Dhala, stressing that the ministry will facilitate mission functions to provide medical services to citizens.

Bin-Hafiz noted the need for Dhala province for more humanitarian and health support, especially in light of the conditions experienced by the country as a result of continued of Saudi-led coalition aggression war and siege.
