SANAA, June 4 (YPA) – The Johns Hopkins University reported on Thursday that it had recorded nearly 1,000 deaths and 20,000 new infections in the United States.
The university confirmed that “the number of infection victims in the United States increased on Wednesday to 995 deaths, compared to 1031 deaths on Tuesday.”
The university monitored 19,699 confirmed new infections in Corona in the United States during the past day, compared to 20,801 injuries the previous day, and the rate has been relatively stable since late last week.
In the United States, there were 185,520 confirmed cases of the emerging corona virus in the United States, and 107,175 of these patients died and 479,258 were recovered.
This comes at a time when the country’s largest cities are witnessing demonstrations and protests accompanied by riots and looting, against the backdrop of the killing of a young black American, George Floyd, by a white policeman during his arrest in Minneapolis.
