President urges YEC to provide basic needs for citizens

SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday urged Yemeni Economic Corporation(YEC) to provide essential commodities to alleviate suffering of Yemeni citizens as a result of the ongoing coalition’s war and siege.

During his meeting with director-General of the YEC, Brigadier Hassan Salah al-Marani, the president praised the efforts exerted by the YEC and commercial houses in organizing a food festival of the citizens in the Holy month of Ramadan.

The President briefed on the ongoing preparations for the food festival for the holy month partaking a number of commercial houses to provide the needs of citizens of different commodities.
