SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – Vice president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) Hani bin Burik, loyal to the UAE, on Monday confirmed that “Riyadh agreement had foiled Qatar’s plan in Yemen.”
In a tweet to his account on Twitter, bin Burik said that “Qatar has mastered reading of Riyadh agreement and felt its danger on its scheme, and mastered more in measures to obstruct it, and was only surprised by the STC’s wisdom.”
“Qatar tried to hinder the Riyadh agreement by moving towards the south,” he added, indicating that Qatar had mobilized its followers to Shoqra city in Abyan province to end the Riyadh agreement, as he said.
Bin Burik noted that Qatar has emboldened more through military action in the field, as a quick solution “to accelerate the elimination of the southerners and the Riyadh Agreement.”
He explained that the military crowd by Islah Party in Shoqra is the last military card of Qatar and it would lose it.
