Islah militia threatens to kill director general of Tarim city in Hadhramaut

HADHRAMAUT, May 31 (YPA) – Khaled Houidi, director general of Tarim city, Hadhramaut province, southeastern Yemen revealed that he was threatened with death if he continued to implement curfew imposed the local authorities serving the Saudi-led Hadi puppet government, due to the outbreak of the “Covid-19” virus pandemic.

Houidi, said in a press statement, reported by  southern media, on Sunday, that he received a direct threat of death and liquidation by a soldier belonging to  “First Military Region ” within the ” Alsuwairi Battalion” loyal to Islah party and also works as a Qat seller in the city of Tarim after the closure of the Qat market in the city.

He called on Hadhramout Governor to intervene immediately and stand by the local authority in Tarim city and open a direct investigation against the direct threat.

The city of Trim has been completely closed since the early hours of Thursday morning, and a comprehensive curfew has been implemented to curb the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
