Israeli forces demolish 4 houses under construction

SANAA, May 31 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday dawn demolished four houses under construction in the city of Al-Tirah, in the lands of 1948, under the pretext of building without permits.

The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that the Israeli police forces stormed the city and besieged four houses under construction that belonged to Khafash family, and prevented the residents from arriving in the area, while bulldozers began demolishing the houses.

The residents expressed their fear that the organizing and building committees will return to the policy of intensive house demolitions in the Arab towns, in light of the political circumstances in the country.

The owner of the demolished houses, Ibrahim Khafash, told “Arab 48”: “The houses were supposed to enter the structural map, and its case was being heard in the courts.”
